The White Queen

These last 2 weeks I really enjoyed watching this british drama called « The White Queen ». It is based on Philippa Gregory’s novels series : « the cousins’ war ». What’s interesting is that it tells the story of Elizabeth Woodville, queen consort of -the VERY handsome- Edward IV (in the show at least haha). So you actually learn a lot about the reigns of Edward IV, Richard III, and Henry VII. The story also focuses on 2 other women : Anne Neville, Wife of King Richard III, and Margaret Beaufort, mother of King Henry VII. 

I loved all the drama, and even more knowing that it actually happened (for the most of it anyways). The story line is quite « fast » since it covers a long period of time. But I am sure you’ll get used to it and like it as much as I did.

PS : my favorite part is actually the love story between Elizabeth Woodville and Edward IV.
